Description
The XL-1394 from Sound Devices is a FireWire-based power filter used to prevent the power supply noise created by bus-powered devices, such as DVD drives, from reaching your audio recording. Designed to be used with 7-series recorders, the XL-1394 is easy to use, simply connect it to your recorder, and plug your FireWire-based accessory into the XL-1394's 6-pin connector. The filter draws its power from the recorder and is housed in a rugged enclosure to withstand field use.
