Leírás

A HSC 4VXP egy teljesen egybeépített headset.
Egy kompakt CCM 4VXP vagy 4VP (kardioidok a beszéd közeli vételére tervezve) mikrofon egybe lett építve az Ultrasone HFI 780 fejhallgatóval egy gooseneck elemen keresztül.
Egy kábel csatlakozik a headset-hez, majd szétválik egy mikrofon kimenetté (XLR-3M) és fejhallgató bemenetté (1/4" stereo phone plug).
A headset megvásárlásakor egy B5 popp screen is a csomag részét képezi. A még ennél is nagyobb védelemért a szél- és pattogó zajjal szemben a B 5 D popscreen használható.

The microphone CCM 4VXP offers a steep bass rolloff and a mild high-frequency boost. Arra tervezték, hogy az oldalról érkező hangokat vegye a lehető legkisebb távolságból, pl. közvetlenül a beszélő szája előtt. Proximity effect compensates for its low-frequency rolloff such that the microphone has an even frequency response for the person speaking, while background noise encounters the full response rolloff and is greatly reduced.
A HSC-t olyan szakemberekkel együttműködve fejlesztették, akik a legkiválóbb hangminőséget és érthetőséget várták el.

A kardioid mikrofonok helyett gömb iránykarakterisztikájú mikrofon is használható (pl. CCM 2S); az eredmény egy igen természetes hangszín lenne közeltéri hatás nélkül. Mindazonáltal az off-axis irányból érkező zajokra magasabb volna az érzékenysége.
