Stereo Windshield WS AC MS Kit is suitable for Schoeps CCM microphones in MS stereo configuration. It features a half-module bar and utilises a traditional hoop & band suspension with 21mm back-to-back clips. No Connbox included.

Main Benefits:

  • Suspends two compact microphones in close coincidence with each other to reduce the differences in signal amplitudes.
  • Durable, small and light-weight system appropriate for compact condenser microphones
  • Complete system with shock mount and variable levels of wind isolation

Description

The Stereo Windshield WS AC MS Kit is an MS stereo solution offering optimum performance in terms of wind and handling noise attenuation for a pair of compact condenser microphones. If a compact size is of higher priority than performance, the alternative WS 9 MS kit is available for an MS pair of CCMs.
The Stereo Windshield is a lightweight, durable basket made from flexible grey plastic netting with a screening material attached. Designed for use with the various suspensions, this system provides excellent wind-noise reduction of up to 30dB with minimal High-Frequency loss.
A Stereo Windshield Kit is comprised of the following three main components: Suspension, Windshield and Windjammer. A Connbox is not included and is available as an optional upgrade for additional isolation from cable-borne noise and vibration.
